URLs2QR scanner

The Problem With Creating QR Codes One by One

You have a document, an email, or a set of notes that contain several links. Maybe it is an event brief with registration, venue, and schedule URLs. Maybe it is a product spec with supplier pages. You need QR codes for those links, but creating them one at a time in a generic generator is tedious.

URLs2QR is built for exactly this situation.

How the Web App Works

  1. Paste your text. Drop in any block of text: notes, emails, docs, event briefs, or chat messages.

  2. Automatic extraction. The app finds all HTTP, HTTPS, and custom-scheme links in the text.

  3. Deduplication. Duplicate URLs are removed automatically.

  4. Instant generation. QR codes appear immediately, one card per link.

  5. Edit before export. You can change the URL on any card before downloading.

  6. Shareable link. On web, you can copy a link that preloads the text so someone else gets the same QR set.

This is not a single-QR generator with a batch mode bolted on. The multi-link workflow is the primary design.

QR Customization

When the output needs to match a brand or stand out on print material, URLs2QR offers:

  • Size control — adjust the pixel dimensions of the output.

  • Color and gradient options — solid colors, radial gradients, linear gradients, sweep gradients, and more.

  • Module and eye shapes — change the look of the individual squares and corner patterns.

  • Center logo — upload an image to place in the center of the QR code.

  • Export format — save as PNG or JPG.

Customization is optional. The default output works immediately without any styling.

Mobile: Scan and Act

On Android and iOS, URLs2QR opens as a scanner first. You can:

  • Scan QR codes and barcodes using the camera.

  • Open detected links directly.

  • Read Wi-Fi QR codes and see the network name, password, and encryption type. On supported devices, connect to the network from the result screen.

  • Look up product barcodes to see product information.

  • Keep a scan history for quick access to previous results.

  • Forward scanned content into the QR creation flow to generate a new code from it.

The mobile app also supports pasting text and generating QR codes, just like the web version.

Deep Links and App Connections

URLs2QR handles any URL scheme, not just standard web links. That includes deep links used by other apps. For example, you can create a QR code that opens a specific item in an inventory app, launches a task board, or pre-fills a note collection, as long as the target app supports URL-based entry points. This makes URLs2QR useful as a bridge between software tools and physical labels or printed materials.

Multi-Language Support

The app is localized in English, German, and Japanese.

Platform Summary

  • Web app — optimized for link extraction and QR generation.

  • Android and iOS — optimized for scanning and acting on results.

  • Both platforms support the full generation and scanning feature set.

Open the web app to try the paste-to-QR workflow immediately, or download the mobile app for scanning on the go. Visit the software page for all links, or subscribe to the newsletter for updates.
